We acknowledge that the well-being and sustainable economic security of our peoples are linked, and that recovering economically from the Covid-19 pandemic and global inflationary pressures and achieving sustainable growth require stronger regional partnership.As neighbors, we stand to reap the benefits of an open, fair, inclusive, and prosperous hemisphere. As democracies, we are united by a common purpose to respond to the needs of our peoples through good governance that leads to robust economic opportunities and sustainable, inclusive economic growth. We, the governments of Barbados, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the United States, and Uruguay, share geographies, languages, history, culture, and familial ties, in addition to our long-standing economic ties.
